SYNOPSIS To pity Medea is to pity our species. It's easy to commiserate a victim because we side with the good and we feel good. And the executioner? Piety is moral, but compassion is ethical, and ethics does not differentiate between kingdoms and species. ‘Pay attention and listen. […] below my me / and also below / what is below’.
